Revision or appeal in case of refusal of application

This webpage was last updated on 5/11/2018.

First revision of your registration application

When your application has been rejected, we'll send you a letter stating the reasons for this rejection. You can request a reassessment of your registration application at any time by submitting additional documents (degrees, certificates or other pieces of evidence) disproving all reasons for the negative decision.

Registration appeals

If your request for reassessment has been rejected (again), you can submit an appeal against our decision to refuse your application.

An appeal may be made:

  • within 60 days after receiving our decision,
  • by means of a registered letter,
  • to the Council of State (the Supreme Court for administrative justice in Belgium): Wetenschapsstraat 33, B-1040 Brussels, Belgium.
